(smile) Conservatives call me hippie, Liberls call me strange. I call me Stanley. As a young man I was drawn to the priesthood because I liked the way they viewed life and living; namely nonjugemental. Before I could get started on that pathway I had joined the military; had been around the world several times and got caught up in the secularism ....(smile) which I enjoyed. While in my mid thirties i was convinced that society if not the world was all about progress. It was about then I started noticing repition in life and living. That, I found disturbing. The repititions became so frequent I started asking myself the question "is this all there is?". Praying for an answer as I was taught to do didn't reveal any answers. One day I happened upon an orthodox buddhist. I started practicing diligently; and through my practice I came upon the answer. The answer was "Yes, this is all there is. Now get over it". And while you're getting over it keep in mind it's an illusion". I don't practice as diligently as I once did, but still I enjoy my practice when I do; including all the paraphenalia that is required for my practice. Since retiring from the work world I focus my activites on art and art making; primarily figurative sculpture. For those of you who have pets, you need to know my attitude toward other species is karmic based. For example, it's their karma to be a dog; it's my karma to be a human. Ergo, you do you, and I'll do me. There is tolerance and compassion concerning animals but I can't say thiers love.
I'm one of those good guys. You know; positive, respectful, polite, patient, helpful, generous, handy; someone who is genuine, sincere, will listen and have your best interest in mind. AND I'm kind of hardheaded in being that way.
The woman I seek enjoys being a woman and is open to a counterpart who enjoys being a man. My lifestyle focus on the "BE" in being; Be faithful, thankful, physically healthy, emotionally healthy, comfortable, secure, life designing, passionate, mindful, conscious, and free from all forms of fear.
